The Smith College Virtual Tour is a Flash-based, XML supported module that links to a library of images and other digital material, including video and a map wayfinding system.

The Tour iteself is divided into six parts: an overview video that summarizes the Smith College experience in words and pictures; four sections that illustrate the community, campus, residential life and learning environment at Smith College using text descriptions and rotating images; and finally, an interactive campus wayfinding guide.

This interactive wayfinding guide allows the user to scroll to various areas of the campus, zoom in and out, get detailed information on buildings and view overlays that show parking, accessibility and 360-degree panoramas.

To find a building, users click on the building directory and select a category, or view an alphabetical list of all buildings. Searches can also be made by keywords. When selected, the building will be highlighted.
